Once the car's on the island, the roads are narrower and busier than mainland Europe — a Range Rover or a G63 handles the mix of tourist traffic, tight village streets and occasional dirt-road stretches out to the quieter beaches far better than a wide, low supercar. Save the exotic metal for the mainland leg of a trip, if you have one.
A good loop runs from Mykonos Town out past Ano Mera to Elia and Kalafatis on the east side of the island — quieter beaches, easier parking, and a proper look at the island beyond the port.
